MagicLand's Forum RulesThese rules are made in order to protect our members and establish a foundation to keep our website under control. The rules that are made do apply to everyone and the consequences will be the same.- Offensive language is kept to a minimum. 'Swearing', or 'Cursing' is aloud on the forums, but if abused or used to threaten someone else then this is breaking the rules which will trigger offense #1 for first offense and continues on. (Offenses Stated below)
- Bringing upon any life-threatening issues will trigger Offense #1 for first offense and continues on.
- Pornography brought to our site in any means will automatically trigger Offense #4, and will continue on from there.
- Double posting is against the rules, a Moderator will delete or merge your posts. (Just don't do it, it's annoying.)
- A post must be made with 3 words or more. (Acronyms and Abbreviations are not fine.) If not followed it will result in a warning then starts with Offense #1.
- Advertising in anyway other than in your own signature will result in Offense #1, your post will be deleted, you will be given a warning, and you will be reminded of the rules.
- Multiple counts of posting in the wrong section will result in Offense #1, and your post will be moved to the right section or deleted. (If you don't know where to post it ASK.)
- Asking for staff position, unless told otherwise, will result in Offense #1.
- Follow all forms that are provided for the specific section, unless told otherwise, you will be warned then given Offense #1 if you continue not to follow procedures.
- Any form of trying to 'Hack' or 'Steal' our forums or someone else account will trigger Offense #10, unless told other wise, you may have triggered #7.
- You are not an employee of Jagex LTD, or runescape, and are not a family member or acquaintance of the aforementioned, this will trigger Offense #10.
- You are not an employee of any law firm contracted with Jagex LTD, and are not a family member or acquaintance of said firm, this will trigger Offense #10.
- You do not currently play runescape, or any other Jagex game, and are therefore not subject to their TOS or any other agreement with them, this will trigger Offense #7.
- All of the information on this site is solely for learning purposes, as the main purpose of this site is to instruct people in the art of programming. All programs provided for download from this site are entirely coded by the members of this community and are not the intellectual property of any business or organization.
Consequences:These consequences are designed in order from your first offense to your tenth, unless told otherwise. These consequences are fair enough to keep our forums safe for everyone.
- Offense #1 - Results in a warning via Private Message. This will clearly state what rule you broke, and where you broke it.
- Offense #2 - Results in another warning via Private Message. This will clearly state what rule you broke, and where you broke it.
- Offense #3 - Results in a final warning via Private Message. This will clearly state what rule you broke, and where you broke it.
- Offense #4 - Results in taking your posting privileges for 1 day. (24hours)
- Offense #5 - Results in taking your posting privileges for 3 days. (72 hours)
- Offense #6 - Results in taking your posting privileges for 1 week. (168 hours)
- Offense #7 - Results in taking your posting privileges for 1 month. (744 hours)
- Offense #8 - Results in taking your posting privileges for 1 month. (744 hours)
- Offense #9 - Results in taking your posting privileges for 1 month. (744 hours)
- Offense #10 - Results in banning your account from our forums. (Forever)
